Acceptable Use Policy

This policy expands §7 of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone who uses Mishale.
1. Permitted use Mishale is for lawful research, design-feasibility assessment, and decision support by professionals and organisations. Each account is for one organisation or user; the Starter (self-serve) tier is intended for academic and pre-seed use.
2. Biosecurity and dual-use — prohibited You must not use Mishale to design, develop, optimise, or facilitate: - biological, chemical, or other weapons, or any agent intended to harm humans, animals, or the environment; - enhancement of the transmissibility, virulence, host range, or immune evasion of a pathogen (gain-of-function of concern); - any activity that violates the Biological Weapons Convention, applicable biosecurity or dual-use research-of-concern (DURC) rules, or export-control and sanctions laws. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with institutional biosafety/IBC oversight and all applicable law.
3. Other prohibited conduct - Illegal, infringing, or fraudulent use, or use that violates a third party's rights. - Reselling, redistributing, sublicensing, or white-labelling the service except under a separate written agreement. - Reverse engineering, scraping, automated bulk extraction, or circumventing rate limits, quotas, authentication, or security controls. - Uploading malware, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or disrupting the service. - Sharing accounts or credentials beyond your licensed scope.
4. Your responsibility for outputs A Computational Feasibility Memo is a public-data, model-derived decision aid — not medical, clinical, regulatory, or manufacturing advice, and not a wet-lab result. You are solely responsible for independently verifying findings before any clinical, manufacturing, or investment decision.
5. Enforcement We may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, for any violation, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities. Report abuse to jambo@mishale.bio.
